Obama! About time the rich got their taxes raised instead of cut!

This is pretty much as expected along party lines.
The Republicans want to give everyone a tax break. That’d be great if they actually were to cut their spending an even greater amount but that hasn’t been their track record of late.
The Democrats increasing tendency toward Socialist ideals is very evident here as Obama pushes for one of the largest transfers of wealth in the history of the country.
Also, the article doesn’t state such but I wonder if this is only taking personal income tax into account? If it doesn’t include things like capital gains then the graphs would be even further divergent.
At least for the average earner of which I am one it has little effect either way but I’d hate to see the economy further burdened with a punishing tax on success. I say toss it all and establish a flat tax but that’s just me!

Wow Miller, hard to believe you have nothing to say with everything going on. The World Economy has taken a dive and is on the brink of collapse, and we’ve had several debates and are less than a month from the election!
My take on it all at this point is that we’re all (the entire world) in big trouble regardless of the outcome at the election so it’s importance is probably half of what it was a couple months ago.
It’s been interesting though, I was shocked that McCain has decided to trumpet one of Hillarys socialist ideas regarding directly buying peoples mortgages and spreading their losses to all the hardworking taxpayers…
